As we are primarily a wildlife conservancy, a conservation fee of KES 1000/- per adult and 500/- per child (Free for kids under 5) is charged upon arrival at the gate. This is only paid once and goes towards all our conservation efforts.
Please remember that you’re staying in my home, not a hotel. Please treat the space with respect. If any problems arise, we will do our best to take action ASAP.
Lake Naivasha is an incredible spot, with the Rift Valley escarpments rising on both sides, the volcanoes of Suswa and Longonot behind, it is truly a magical landscape with no shortage of things to explore on land or water. Just ask us in advance or when you arrive and we are delighted to provide suggestions for activities in the local area.
????5 minute drive to local farm shop and shopping centre
????10 minute drive to Hell’s Gate
The property is family run and there is always someone around to direct queries or request advice from. Please don’t hesitate to contact us on the number given.
Its easiest to use a car to get anywhere in Kenya and getting to the Mabati House is no exception. However, there are many taxis and taxi motorbikes (boda boda) operating locally that can be useful for those without private transport.
